The Portage Fusion are in Division 4 action tonight.

They host El Condor at Rotary Republic Park. The Fusion have lost their last 4, but they did manage to get some offense going in their 4-3 defeat last week. El Condor won their first meeting 4-2 back on May 27th, so another close game can be expected tonight. Fusion's Glenn McColloch was impressed with last week's performance and hopes it continues over tonight.

"We worked really hard in the heat, so hopefully that carries over to this game where we'll have a couple more subs than last game. And hopefully, we can get 4 or 5 goals this time."

McColloch says it's important to not get sucked into their opponents game plan.

"We start chasing the ball around and not thinking when we're on the field. When we have a few extra subs we can get the guys on and off the field, talk to them a little bit to get them calmed down and re-focused on our game plan."

The Fusion and El Condor go at 7:30 p.m. at Rotary Republic Park.
