The PCI Trojans fell 4-3 to Garden City last night in Manitoba High School Field Lacrosse.

Trojans' Head Coach Al Patterson gives his thoughts on the loss.

"I thought we played a lot better than we have in recent. Unfortunately we just didn't come out on top, we ended losing a hard fought battle."

Garden City is undefeated this season, and Patterson says it showed.

"We were basically playing catch-up the entire game. They had us down 4-2, but we ended up scoring another goal off a great pass to Tyler Grantham. Cole Hanna had the other two goals."

He says there were a number of positives in the loss though.

"We did have a few opportunities that their goaltender made some big saves on. Our goaltending played well again as well, they had a lot of opportunities and Riley Sveistrup's been playing really well for us."

With the loss the Trojans now sit at 500, with a 2-2-2 record. They're back at it Thursday when they visit Miles Macdonell in Winnipeg.
