It's the second last game of the regular season for the Central Plains Female Caps in tonight's Manitoba Female AAA Midget Hockey League action. They host Norman Wild in the fifth meeting of the teams this season, with the Caps taking wins in the previous four. While they took a 3-2 overtime loss in their last game, Coach Ferdi Nelissen says they're still optimistic about the post-season.

"We picked up an important point, and now if we can take care of the next two games we could move, possibly, into third and there's an outside chance of second but it's not likely. If we can get into that third spot, that helps us."

While their record against Norman is spotless this season, Nelissen says they're not taking anything for granted.

"If you look on it on paper it should be a win, but you can't just show up in our league and think you're going to have a win. You have to show up and play. Every team is capable of beating you on a given night. If we can take care of business there, and then we have one game against Pembina Valley, but third place is in our hands. If we win out, we get third."

Puck drop in tonight's game is set for 7:30 at the BDO Centre.
