The Portage Terriers (9-3-0) are back on the ice tonight in the MJHL, after two losses where they allowed 19 goals against last week.

They host the last place Waywayseecappo Wolverines (1-11-0) at the PCU Centre. Terriers' Captain Adam Wowryk says they have to take those losses as a team and move on.

"I don't blame anyone for those loses. It started with the goalies, the defense, and the forwards, we all played bad. You need to stop pucks to win games, but you also need to score goals, and we weren't doing either."

If the Terriers were looking to get some confidence back on the ice, tonight would be a good game to do it against the ailing Wolverines. "We have to come out guns-a-blazing," says Wowryk when asked about shaking off the two losses. "We have to come out a lot better than how we have been coming out. Get a few quick (goals) early and get our heads in the game, and things will go from there."

The Terriers' last win came against the Wolverines a couple of weeks ago. "They're a hard-working team," admits Wowryk. "Brandon Stanley, we had him last year, he's going to have some edge to him. He works hard, finishes all checks, has a nice shot. Their goalie isn't that bad either."

The Dogs are 0 for 13 on the powerplay in their last 2 games, and their penalty kill is 50% or 5 for 10. Portage has also added a couple of new faces to the club. Get the information here.

Puck drop is 7:30 tonight at the PCU Centre. You can catch the game on CFRY and portageonline.com, with the pregame show starting at 7:20.
