"We have the Spring Break Family Fun Spiel on March 27th from 3 to 8 p.m.," says Sheri Blaylock, Curling Club Manager. "It's perfect for grandparents and grandchildren, neighbours, kids and parents, anyone really. It's $10 per person with pizza and pop, and three four-end games, and we're expecting it to be a lot of fun."

The Last Chance Bonspiel is set for March 31st in Portage.

"It's a $160 entry fee and we've got about 45 teams signed up so far," says Blaylock. "We can go to 64, and we'd love to get that high. The theme for the event is come and have fun. So you can dress up and be whoever you want to be that weekend."

Blaylock adds their year-end wind u p is coming up next week as well. "It's on Thursday, March 23rd, and tickets are available until Monday, March 20th," adds Blaylock. "We're having supper, then recognizing Dean Moxham and Dale Michie's World Silver Medal, and their National Championship win last year. We'll also have the finals of the Men's and Women's Leagues happen, and after those are finished we'll hand out all of the awards."
