The Central Plains Capitals bounced back after last night's loss, winning this evening's game against the Interlake Lightning 6-4.

Coach Brad Gnidziejko says is was nice to get a win again but admits it was a nail-biter right to the end. He explains the team started strong but had difficulty in maintaining their lead, he attributs this to slight over-confidence.

"We're trying some new things and we're learning and [the boys] are getting comfortable with it, and then they get so comfortable that they start to press. Then they press when they don't have to and we end up with chances against."

Everything worked out in the end today but Gnidziejko says they still have work to do and things to learn. However he notes the every player has been working hard and putting in their best effort.

The Capitals are back in action tomorrow when they face the Eastman Selects.
