There's Manitoba Major Soccer League action tonight in Portage la Prairie.

Central Plains FC plays host to Rovers FC in the Major 3rd Division. Central Plains is fresh off their first win of the season, and Player-Coach Tyson Guenther wants to carry over the momentum from Saturday. He says their attack needs to start from the defensive side.

"We played defense as a unit really well as a unit last game, and we'll need to carry that over to tonight to pull off the W."

Guenther says along with a structured attack, they need to start scoring more.

"Our goal differential is really hurting us right now. We're scoring less than a goal a game on average, so it sounds simple enough, but we've got to put the ball in the back of the net."

CPFC and Rovers FC go at 7:30 at Rotary Republic Park.
