The Central Plains CAPS host the Westman Wildcats tonight and tomorrow at the BDO Centre for two Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League games.

They're currently riding a two-game win streak after beating Eastman and Pembina Valley last weekend. They went 2-1 in three days, with the single loss coming against the Wildcats a week ago.

"We played much better in the second and third periods in that one," says Ferdi Nelissen, CAPS head coach. "We have to get off to a good start. It doesn't matter if you play a good second and third if you're chasing a three or four-nothing lead. So that's some of the things we're trying to get our girls to understand."

"It's all about the first ten minutes," adds Nelissen. "We need to come out of (the first) battling and making sure we're on even ground or ahead. We're going to try to do the same thing this weekend, get two wins. They're a much tougher team to do it against, but if the girls follow the game plan and play to their capabilities I think we'll be in the game."

Tonight's game is at 7:30 at the BDO Centre. Tomorrow's goes at 4 and it's also at the BDO Centre.
