The Central Plains Capitals look to bounce back from Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Winnipeg, as they host the Kenora Thistles in tonight's Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey Action. The Caps are fifth in the standings with 12-7, sitting seven points ahead of the seventh place Kenora Thistles. Despite the standings, Central Plains Assistant Coach Daniel Moar anticipates a challenge.

"There are no easy games here, and Kenora's a big, strong team. They have some bodies that can hurt you and they're a strong club."

The teams have met twice this season, during a two game series in Kenora at the Thistle Arena. The first meeting say Brody Moffat with two goals and an assist to lead the Caps to a 6-5 victory. In the second match-up, Central Plains outshot Kenora, but couldn't hit the back of the net, leading to a 1-0 loss.

Tonight's game is set for 8 pm at the BDO Centre.
