In the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League, PCI Saints won big yesterday, 7-1 over Dakota Lancers.

Maegan Inman and Paige Schwaluk had two goals each, with Bailey Grantham, Katie McCartney, and Maddie Schwaluk getting singles.

Inman says they played a complete game.

"We started off strong, and potted two quick goals. And then we just knew that we had to keep in their end, and not let back during the two periods. When we came out into the third, we knew had to not let up, and we scored more, and we just had to keep it out of our end, which we did. We stayed strong in our end.

Inman thinks the victory will be important as the post-season approaches.

"We played a full three periods, which brought us sucess today, and hopefully, in playoffs we can do the same."

The playoffs begin next week.
