The Central Plains Capitals have a chance to move on to the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League championship for the second year in a row. The Caps lead their best-of-5 semi-final with Pembina Valley 2-1, and game 4 is tonight the BDO Centre.

Central Plains won game 3 in double overtime, thanks to a goal from Sheridan Oswald. Caps' forward Emily Upgang assisted on the game tying goal in game 3, and sets up tonight's game.

"Pembina Valley has a really strong defense, and I think to match that we have to make some quick plays, some quick passes, and get a lot of shots to the net. Our loss at home last week, I think we didn't do that enough, and in order to be successful at home we need to get those shots to the net and get working together."

Upgang says they'll need to go to the tough areas if they plan to beat the Hawks' netminder.

"She's a really solid goalie. I think we need to get in the slot, get open for shots, and definitely get the rebounds."

Tonight's game starts at 8 at the BDO Centre. The other MFMHL semi-final is also on tonight. Yellowhead and Westman play game 4 of their series at 7:30. Yellowhead leads 2-1.
