Central Plains Capitals and the Yellowhead Chiefs are in Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League action tonight at the BDO Centre.

The Capitals and Chiefs were scheduled to face off at the BDO Centre last night, but the game was cancelled due to the blizzard. The Chiefs are the top ranked team, and a win tonight vault the Capitals into third place. Yellowhead holds first with 44 points, Pembina Valley's in second with 41, Westman's in third with 38, and the Caps round out the top 4 with 37.

The Caps and Pembina Valley both face Norman later this week, and will face off Sunday in Morden. The Caps do have the potential to jump into the second place spot, if Norman can pull out an upset over Pembina Valley on the weekend.

Tonight's game starts at 7:15 p.m. at the BDO Centre.
