Team Canada is on its way to the finals at the U18 Women's World Championship, in St. Catherines Ontario, after a dominate 4-0 win over Russia in the semi-finals last night.

The Canadians outshot the Russians 43-12 in the game, and played strong from start to finish. Central Plains Capitals' Sheridan Oswald says the team came out strong and never let up.

"I think our team definitely came out with a better start this time and throughout the game we had a lot of energy. I thought we did really well and were more disciplined and I thought the team definitely did better on our special teams too."

Oswald discusses what they'll have to do in the championship game against USA.

"I think just being more disciplined and sticking to our game plan and definitely coming out with a strong start like we did against the Russians"

Oswald comments on her experience playing for Team Canada.

"It's been a really good time and I've learned a lot from my players and my coaches."

The Canadians face-off against the Americans tonight at 6:30 in the championship game.
