The PCI Saints fell 5-3 to Springfield last night in Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey.

Head Coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie says they were fighting more than their opponents.

"That's the second loss we've had where we've outplayed our opponents. We outshot them 41-32 and their goalie played very well. We just couldn't get any bounces, and (Springfield) got a few."

There seems to be a wide range of talent in the 'B' division, with the top 5 teams being better by a wide margin. "That's something we just have to adjust to," says Clark-Gillespie. "We need to use the weaker competition for learning."

Bailey Grantham, Kiera Shwaluk and Morgan Parynuik scored for the Saints in the loss. They're back in action Friday when they visit River East.
