It was another successful Last Chance Bonspiel at the Portage Curling Club. Curling Club Manager Sheri Blaylock says it was a really amazing weekend.

"Things have gone excellent. The feedback has been all positive, and the social was amazing. It seemed like everyone had a lot of fun."

Darryl Friesen's rink from Steinbach took home the A division Championship. He was pleased with his team's performance.

"Everybody curled really, really well. Any time you win a bonspiel every body has to make their shots right. But it's a good spiel, a fun spiel, so it was good."

C Event Champions 'I'd Tap That', from Winnipeg, took part, and Skip Brenden Wilson talks about their first experience at the bonspiel.

"It was awesome. It was our first year here, but our friends have been here for 4 or 5 years. They've always told us to come out, and this was the first chance we had. Everybody here is awesome, the party was awesome, it's just a fun time."

Blaylock says they're going to shoot for 56 teams at next year's Last Chance. She adds it was a really amazing weekend, and thanks everyone who attended.
