In the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference Tier 2 junior varsity playoffs last night, the PCI Saints fell 47-32 in their semi final to Elmwood.

Despite beating Elmwood two weeks ago, the Saints couldn't keep up with the league's best. They have a shot at 3rd place today, as they face Tec Voc in Winnipeg at 4:30.

The PCI varsity Trojans also have a shot at 3rd place tonight, versus Shaftesbury Titans. They fell 82-58 to St. John's Tuesday night in the semi-final. Trojans' Head Coach Janey MacDonald challenging her club to rise to the occasion tonight.

"We just need to play basketball. Go out there and execute what we've done successfuly throughout the whole season. How are we going to leave the season -- are we just going to drop the towel and walk away -- or are you going to come with some determination and make up for how that (Semi Final) game ended, and bring some confidence back."

The Trojans and Titans go at 7 p.m. at St. James Collegiate in Winnipeg.
