Mother Nature made her presence well known once again over the weekend and the fallout from the inclement weather continues.

With the exception of Highway 10 through Riding Mountain National Park, all highways in Manitoba have reopened. The last to reopen was the Perimeter Highway around Winnipeg which started to see traffic once again in the 6 am hour.

Buses have been called off in many school divisions this morning thanks to the conditions left behind by the storm. The Portage, Prairie Rose and Beautiful Plains School Divisions have all canceled buses for the day. Most schools are open for those who can attend however St. Laurent school is closed.

Manitoba Hydro continues to deal with outages around the province as well. As of 7 am, there were still more than 650 incidents affecting more than 13,000 customers.

Thankfully there is no rain in the forecast today. It will however be quite cool with a northwest wind gusting to 50 km/h and a high of only minus 2.
