The province is now reporting a more rapid decline of the Red River in southern Manitoba. Since Tuesday, the Red has seen the following changes:

  • dropped four inches at Emerson to 787.47 feet
  • dropped two inches at Letellier to 783.43 feet
  • dropped two inches at St. Jean to 780.21 feet
  • dropped three inches at Morris to 778.46 feet
  • dropped three inches at Ste. Agathe to 770.77 feet
  • dropped three inches at St. Adolphe to 766.77 feet

Since Tuesday, the Roseau River has seen the following changes:

  • dropped less than one inch at Gardenton to 967.73 feet
  • there has been no change at Stuartburn and the level remains 950.32 feet
  • dropped one inch at Dominion City (PR 200) to 782.10 feet

Also since Tuesday, the Rat River has dropped five inches near Otterburne to 771.59 feet, while the Seine River near Ste. Anne has dropped 18 inches to 833.17 feet.

 

Meanwhile, the lakes in the Whiteshell have seen the following changes:

  • dropped less than one inch at Falcon Lake to 1,067.48 feet
  • dropped less than one inch at West Hawk Lake to 1,094.76 feet
  • dropped less than one inch at Caddy Lake to 1,050.57 feet
