The U15 Female Central Plains Capitals had a very successful weekend at the second Hockey Manitoba Showcase this past weekend at the hockey for all centre in Winnipeg.
The Caps won all three games against Winnipeg teams. Friday, they played the Winnipeg Twins, and the Caps won 11-6. On Saturday, they played the Assiniboine Park Rangers winning 7-0. Sophia Lund was in net, earning the shutout. Sunday was the hardest test as the Caps faced an undefeated Winnipeg Titans squad. Central Plains were able to hand the Titans a loss, outscoring them 4-2.
The next home game for the Caps is December 17 at 2:45 p.m. against Westman.
