U11 Tournament sends many young hockey players home happy

Six banners were handed out yesterday at Stride Place for Portage Minor Hockey’s U11 tournament.

24 hockey teams from across the province came to Portage this weekend to try and capture one of six different championships. Portage Terriers Team 1 took home the Boston Pizza Trophy, and left winger Kaisen was happy to receive a medal.

“I’ll probably put it with my other ones at home on my wall. I have a hanger for them. I think this is my fifth.”

Kaisen says his New Year's Resolution is to score more goals.
