Those heading west from Winnipeg may have some headaches to deal with as traffic has slowed to a near standstill.
Massive delays are being experienced in the westbound lanes of Highway 1 near Elie on Tuesday afternoon. Five police vehicles were spotted on the scene, and officials have told PortageOnline that a motor vehicle collision has caused the wait times.
At this time, there have not been any reports of injuries from this incident, and no further details have been issued.
Police continue to investigate.
