The Terriers were in action last night taking on the Fort William Northstars in exhibition action.   The Terriers were in action last night taking on the Fort William Northstars in exhibition action.   The dogs came out strong in the first period, Jeremy Dawes put the Terriers on the board with a powerplay goal early in the first, late in the first frame Brendan Young made it two nothing, he was assisted by captain Stan Yanchishyn and Trent King.  The two teams traded penalties in the 2nd, however it was a scoreless period.  The Terriers let loose in the third, Helie and Hechter found the net, while Jeremy Dawes potted his second goal of the night.  Ex-Terrier turned North Star Tyler Summerfield mixed it up in the third in a tilt with newcomer Justin Crockatt, it was short lived but gave fans a glimpse of what could be the next Terrier enforcer.  Fort William finally got on the board late in the third but that would be it, the Terriers scored a 5-1 pre-season win.  The Two teams square off at Centennial Arena again tonight, game time is 7:30 p.m.
