Last night in the Manitoba Major Soccer League's Fourth Division, the Southport United came close, but couldn't keep their unbeaten streak going.

In a close affair Southport was edged 3-2 by the Saint James Hurricanes.

United Coach, Albert Phillipot, feels his club played their heart out last night, adding he doesn't have one negative thing to say about their effort. Phillipot notes that Southport seems to be gelling really well as of late and other than a couple of games he is pleased with how the team has responded this season.

Ray Chabot netted both of the United goals last night. Southport will return to action next Monday when they hit the road to take on Fusion FC.
