The city is reporting today that construction on Saskatchewan Ave will cause inconveniences for the foreseeable future.
"Due to the construction work currently being completed on Saskatchewan Avenue, effective immediately, Thursday, May 5, 2022." Says the City of Portage la Prairie's website.
The following intersections will be restricted:
- Saskatchewan Avenue & 9th Street NW & SW
- Saskatchewan Avenue & 7th Street NW & SW
- Saskatchewan Avenue & Cochrane Street
- Saskatchewan Avenue & 6th Street NW - restricted to right hand turn only
- Saskatchewan Avenue & 8th Street NW - restricted to right hand turn only
The city adds that these closures will remain in effect for approximately two weeks until completion.
