Rose Marie Neault
April 5, 1948 – November 5, 2022
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Neault on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at the age of 74 years. Rose was a loving mother and grandmother.
Rose was born on April 5, 1948, in Ochre River, Manitoba. She spent her early years in Ste. Rose du Lac and later moved with her family to Portage la Prairie, attending school and spending time with her brothers and sister.
Portage la Prairie is where Rose would make her home. She worked at Campbell’s Soup until its closing in 1992. At this time, Rose made a career change and became a well-respected Health Care Aid at the Lion’s Prairie Manor until her retirement in 2019. During this time, she made many life-long friends, and her residents became a second family to her.
Rose was a kind and caring person. She was always the first to offer her help and support when friends and family needed it. Rose loved spending her time with her family and close friends. Faith was very important to Rose. She attended church regularly and enjoyed sharing conversations with other congregation members after the church service.
Rose leaves to mourn her children Parker (Pam) Garnham, and Wayne (Cari-Anne) Garnham, her grandchildren Autumn (Matthew), Tanner (Victoria), Kaiden and her dear dog Benny. She will be missed dearly.
To respect Rose’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations will be gratefully accepted in Rose’s name to PAWS, 121-12th Street N.E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 4A2.
