RCMP have provided more details and cleared the confusion surrounding a serious crash Monday involving three men from the southeast. 

According to police, the single-vehicle rollover happened at approximately 9 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 1, near Portage la Prairie. When officers arrived, Portage Fire Department and EMS were already on scene. 

The driver, a 35-year-old male from La Broquerie was taken to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg by ground ambulance with serious injuries. A 19-year-old male passenger from Mitchell was airlifted to HSC with serious injuries. According to a STARS spokesperson, this individual was in critical condition. RCMP say a second passenger, a 20-year-old male from Blumenort was taken to Portage District General Hospital with minor injuries. Initially, police said it was this passenger from Blumenort that was airlifted to hospital.

According to police, alcohol was not a factor in this crash.
