Portage la Prairie RCMP reportedly received several calls last week about a suspicious person possibly breaking into a residence in the 300 block of 10th Street NW.
According to the police report, on July 11th, officers searched for the suspicious person, and when they arrived on the scene, the suspect immediately exited the residence.
The 42-year-old man from Portage la Prairie was then placed under arrest.
The suspect is charged with:
- Two counts of Break and Entering
- Two counts of Mischief Under $5000
- Nudity in a Public or Private Property and Trespass at Night
The suspect was released on court ordered documents with conditions the suspect must abide by, with a follow-up court date in August of this year.
