Resurfacing and the addition of passing lanes is taking place on Provincial Trunk Highway 3 between Carman and Brunkild today.

Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) says they're resuming construction on 35 kilometres of PTH 3 between the two communities. The highway is currently being used as the detour route for PTH 75 which closed due to recent flooding.

During the construction, areas of single-lane traffic with a pilot vehicle leading cars along will take place, and you can expect delays for both regular PTH 3 and detoured PTH 75 traffic.

PTH 2 is available as an alternate detour route for PTH 75 which will result in minimal delays.
