The City of Portage la Prairie is beginning weed control treatment on Crescent Lake this morning which will continue until later in the week.
The weed control initiative will last two to three days, weather permitting.
The City says there is no swimming, canoeing or boating on the lake during this time.
Weed control treatment will begin on Crescent Lake the morning of Wed, Aug 17, 2022 and will continue for 2 – 3 days, weather permitting. There is no swimming, canoeing or boating allowed during this time. Watch for signage along the lake bank if you plan to enter the water.
