Portage fire crews extinguish two separate blazes

It was a busy few hours Sunday evening for Portage la Prairie firefighters as they were called to two different fires.

The first was a bumper tow camper fire at Delta around 6:30 p.m. By the time crews were on scene, the camper was engulfed. It was quickly put out.

Around the same time, a second call came in -- this one from within the city. Crews were called to a garage fire on 3rd Street S.W. Crews cleared up both scenes. There were no injuries reported.
