Portage la Prairie firefighters were called to two separate incidents on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the report, the first call came in at 3:50 p.m. when two cars collided at the intersection of 8th Street NE and Lorne Avenue. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Shortly thereafter, around 4:15, another crew was sent north of Portage to deal with a baler fire. This call was a bit longer, as crews remained for about 45 minutes. No injuries were reported at this incident either.
