The World Trade Organization is holding talks right now. Portage-Lisgar MP Brian Pallister thinks these talks have to focus on agriculture in the upcoming weeks.

He believes the WTO is at a point where they must start reducing the large subsidies European and American farmers receive. By doing so Pallister believes it will level the playing field for farmers in Manitoba and across Canada.

Pallister will start to question the effectiveness of the WTO if they do not start making progress on these issues.
