MLA's return to the legislature tomorrow, and the first order of business is the government's Speech from the Throne.

The session will only last three weeks, but Portage MLA David Faurschou hopes some legislation from the previous session will be looked after. He points to the whistle-blower situation, a college for pharmacists, and the payday loan issue as examples.

Faurschou expects a very general Speech from the Throne, terming it an election platform for the NDP. Education, healthcare, justice and infrastructure are some the issues he predicts will top the agenda in the new session.

Faurschou believes a pressing issue that needs addressed is creating incentives for young people to stay in this province.
