It will be a winner take all match Wednesday night in Steinbach. The Dauphin Kings shut out the Pistons 2-0 on home ice Sunday night to take game six.

The Kings came out strong in front of their hometown fans outshooting the Pistons 20-5 in the opening frame but were unable to solve Pistons goaltender, Will Hambley.

Just over five minutes into the 2nd, hometown product, Garrett Hrechka tipped in a Colby Jaquet point shot through Hambley to give the Kings a 1-0 lead, a goal that stood up as the game-winner.

Portage product Logan Calder scored the insurance marker with around three minutes left in the game when he beat Hambley at the side of the net, giving the Kings a 2-0 lead. Calder's brother Kian also scored when his team won the SJHL title on Friday night. In that one, the Estevan Bruins beat the Flin Flon Bombers in game 7, another 2-0 game.

Carson Cherepak was sharp in the Kings net, stopping 27 shots for the shutout.

With the MJHL series now tied at 3 games apiece, the division winners will meet one more time with the Turnbull Memorial Trophy on the line Wednesday night. The game is in Steinbach, 7:30 at the T.G. Smith Centre.
