The province has some work to do in improving wait times for MRI and CT scans.

In a report released by the national Wait Time Alliance, Manitoba scores an 'F' for diagnostic testing.  The alliance found the province wasn't meeting their standard of getting patients in within 30 days.

And according to Portage MLA David Faurschou, the failing grade came at a high cost - a time when Manitoba spends more per capita than any other province.

The province did score an 'A' for cardiac care, but Faurschou stresses work towards meeting those standards only came after eleven noted deaths during the wait period.

Turtle Mountain MLA Cliff Cullen is disappointed of the failing grade and describes a similar situation for hip and knee replacements.
