Firefighters from MacGregor have been active in keeping the community safe from flames.
MacGregor Fire Department Chief Chris Leckie reports that eight crew members spent most of the afternoon on Sunday fighting a grass fire along a railroad track just North of MacGregor.
Additionally, Leckie says six firefighters were dispatched to another grass fire along a railroad in the same area the following day.

No injuries or damages were reported from the department.
