The PCI Trojans kicked off the Manitoba Provincial High School Baseball championships in Brandon with a win. The team defeated a co-op team made up from schools in Birtle, Shoal Lake and Strathclair. The Trojans play William Morton Collegiate of Gladstone at 11:45 am today and should move on to the playoff rounds win or lose. The only thing preventing that would be a very lopsided loss.
Carson Inman of the Portage Golf Club lost 2 & 1 to Keaton Jameson of Brandon on day one at the Manitoba Men's Match Play Championship at Quarry Oaks near Steinbach. Action continues at the course today.
