A 17-year-old Portage la Prairie female was fined after driving with her lights off just after midnight.
A Portage la Prairie RCMP officer witnessed the vehicle travelling on Lorne Avenue on August 27th. After pulling her over, the officer believed she had consumed alcohol. She provided breath samples on a Roadside Screening Device in which the results were a Fail, and she was issued an Immediate Roadside Driving Prohibition.
The driver lost her licence for a minimum of 90 days, the vehicle was towed and impounded for a minimum of 30 days, and she was fined $700.
