The Koats For Kids program in Portage ends tomorrow.
They have about 300 gently used coats available for families who can't afford one. They'll be at Trinity United Church from 2 until 6 pm.
Organizer Dawn Froese points out they have to put what's left into storage for next year. She says they don't have a key to the storage area, and it's a difficult process to access the coats.
Froese thinks the arrival of snow will mean a lot of people coming to the church to pick up a coat. She adds you can also obtain one for someone who's unable to get there. Sizes range from infant to adult.
Froese notes 10 to 15 will be kept at the Big Brothers/Big Sisters office in case of emergency.
