Six nomination meetings are planned for the provincial conservatives in non-held constituencies.  This includes Monday's meeting for Brandon East and today's for Radisson.

Because the possibility of a September provincial election is waning, Portage MLA David Faurschou notes the candidates will be given a head start in terms of preparation.

Faurschou believes nomination meetings will also be held in conservative territory to allow for adequate time.

The NDP government has so far held eight of the meetings in the past month.
