As the long weekend winds down and back to school looms, many people are trying to balance all of that by enjoying some last-minute summer-type events while getting everything ready for what's ahead.

  • What's the Scoop: 1 pm to 9 pm

  • Rona: closed

  • Hill's Drug Store: closed

  • Mil-Jeanne Flowers: closed

  • Dino's Appliance and Mattress Centre: closed 

  • McMunn and Yates Building Supplies: closed

  • Splash Island - public swim- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. then closed for the season
