2017's almost complete, and in the RM of Coldwell, it was a pretty fair year.

That's from Reeve Brian Sigfusson, who points to beginning construction of a new arena in Lundar as a significant development.

He acknowledges there have been some delays, but there's also progress.

"We ran into late fall, but we got all our foundations done before any cold weather came," he says, "And had them all set. He's (the contractor) got over 50% of the walls up, he's got a lot of the roof rafters joined together -- they just need to be set on top, and bolted in place."

Sigfusson says there were infrastructure projects in the spring and summer.

"We ordered a new grader," he says, "And we expect that some time in January. We built two miles of road, two miles west of town (Lundar), then going south, that joins the north and south, so we don't have to go down roads with heavy loads, that weren't capable of handling them properly, especially in the spring of the year. We're making a fireguard and drainage one (road) in the eastern part of the municipality."
