The Gladstone Lakers are welcoming Neepawa tonight in the Tiger Hills Hockey League. Gladstone hopes to increase their winning streak to six in a row. Dale Evenson is the coach and says there's a bit at stake in tonight's game.

"We've been on a roll recently and this is a pretty big game," says Evenson. "A battle for first place. Hopefully, we're able to get some revenge from when they beat us early in the season -- they beat us pretty good there but we're a different club now, so we're looking forward to seeing how we make out."

He sizes up the opposition.

"They have a pretty good first line," says Evenson. "Matt Lowry's line is pretty potent and pretty fast, so we have to find a way to shut them down and hopefully stay out of the penalty box."

He explains they have a short bench, but it shouldn't be a problem.

"We're missing a few players," he continues. "A couple of our best players are actually away this weekend due to work commitments, but we're pretty deep this year throughout the line-up. We've played like that all year, so I'm not too worried about our bench."

Game start's at 8:30 p.m.
