A history teacher in Portage says he's feeding his passion of teaching Canadian involvement in war times.
Larry Smith of Arthur Meighen High School is being given an opportunity to tour world war sites in Belgium and France, expecting to share his experiences with his students.
He's one of 14 chosen nation-wide by the Historica Foundation for the August trip. The opportunity comes after Smith's recent trip to Kingston Ontario with his student delegation, who were presented a national award through the foundation.
