A day to celebrate local producers has arrived in the City of Portage la Prairie.
The Farmer Appreciation Lunch, held annually by Country 93 and CFRY 9200 AM, will take place at the MNP building at Island Park today, July 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
At the event, there will be free lunch, thousands of dollars in prizes and one farmer will win a Grain Max 2300 Hopper Bottom Bin, valued at over $28,000.
Country 93 and CFRY 920 AM note that this free lunch is a perfect chance to shake hands and visit with the producers in the area.
