Southern Manitoba will continue to be dry for at least the next few weeks, according to Environment Canada's Suzanne D'amour.

She explains we are stuck in a dry cycle with not enough moisture in the air to create more rain.  She says the end of the cycle is currently not in sight -- ideally we'd need a big low pressure system moving in from the north or southwest, but that's isn't likely in the prairies.

She explains we will likely continue to see precipitation only in small, localized areas.
