Doerksen leads Energy to first win at nationals

The Central Energy are now in the win column on the biggest stage in the nation. 

The U19 squad defeated the New Brunswick Selects 6-0 today to give them a 1-3 record thus far at the Women's Canadian Fast Pitch Championship. Payton Doerksen picked up the shutout victory for the Energy.

With two games left in the round-robin, the Energy are hoping to solidify their position in the elimination rounds. Their next outing is set for 8:30 tomorrow morning, and they will close out the round-robin at 3:00.
