Portage la Prairie fire crews are fighting a fire at a home on 7th Street SW.

About fifteen firefighters responded to the call just after 7 a.m. Police are asking people to avoid the area.

Initial reports are that everyone got out of the home safely and there are no injuries reported.

An investigation is ongoing. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
