No one was home at the time of a house fire Tuesday morning northwest of Carman in the R.M. of Dufferin.

Carman Dufferin Fire Department responded to the call around 11:15 a.m., and when crews arrived, found the home to be fully engulfed.

The blaze is not not considered suspicious.

Additional tankers from Roland and Elm Creek Fire Departments were called in to shuttle water. A total of 24,000 gallons of water and an excavator were used to extinguish the fire.
