Team Toba captured a bronze medal in Judo Wednesday at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island.

Avery Pampolina of Winnipeg finished third in the -50kg male individual event at the PEI Convention Centre in Charlottetown.

Manitoba's medal count is nine with three gold, four silver and two bronze.

Team Manitoba finished the round robin with an 0-3 record in female hockey after losing 3-0 to Nova Scotia. Our province will face Prince Edward Island in a qualification game today. 

Team Toba's Mixed Doubles Curling team of Mackenzie Arbuckle & Aaron Macdonell is 1-2 after losing 7-3 to Ontario. Arbuckle & Macdonell will meet Northwest Territories today. 

Manitoba's Male Curling team of Jace Freeman, Elias Huminicki, Rylan Graham & Jack Steski won its round robin opener 4-3 over Quebec and will take on Newfoundland & Labrador today.
